This was my first attempt at horror storytelling. Our goal was to create an unsettling atmosphere through eerie visual storytelling and challenge ourselves with a 30-second runtime. We leaned heavily into dramatic color and lighting for a sense of unease.
One of my favourite parts of the project was experimenting with breaking the fourth wall, making the viewers become part of the disturbing story. The film is mainly traditional 2D animation with a little bit of 2D rigging.
